Community members are invited to a free Community Conversation on Hurricane Preparedness hosted by Sarasota County and partner agencies from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 11 at Riverview High School, 1 Ram Way, Sarasota.

Daylight saving a reminder to change smoke alarm batteries

The Sarasota County Fire Department encourages the community to use the time change on Sunday, March 8 as an opportunity to check and replace batteries in their smoke and carbon monoxide alarms.
